3. White Sands National Monument One thing New Mexico is known for is the White Sands National Monument. You can walk and hike for 275 miles! You can go camping, bicycling, driving, hiking, riding horses, sledding and so much more. They also have events like full and new moon where you can sit and watch the moon come out!

4. Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad The Cumbrest and Toltec Scenic Railroad are National Historic Landmark that moves and crosses borders 11 times. The railroad goes through 64-miles long and it is a must to see this scenery in the Rocky Mountains West. You’ll see canyon walls, forests, wildflowers, wild animals, and so much more!
